Who we are

History

"Blossom" a social welfare organization, was formed with the aim of providing a little light to the underprivileged, through improvization in the quality of education, to foresee a world without destitutes, and to prove human rights are not restricted and discriminated based on the environment or economical status.

Born as a charitable trust on 11 October 2006, registered under Government of India (Reg.no-4592/2006) Blossom was established as an NGO by like-minded software engineers to channelize the work and deliver sustainable, high impact community-based services to the poor and needy, Focusing on the three basic requirements of humankind - Shelter, Education and Health, Blossom has initiated three projects called ‘Priyamudan’, ‘QUEST’ and 'h.A.A.r.t'. With the involvement of young and social responsible volunteers who are also our as members, Blossom set the mission and started making progress towards realizing their dream vision.

“A flower Blossoms with proper light, water and air, whereas an individual blossoms when he/she is illuminated with the light of education.” Education does not mean being literate but learning every hour, minute and second from various experiences in life and putting to good use our knowledge from what we have learnt from life, this unquenching QUEST for knowledge can only be awakened by a master who has the same understanding and interests. Having this in mind Blossom primarily works on providing quality education to the needy.
